Real cause of death revealed by family of deceased gospel singer Osinachi
The news of gospel singer Osinachi’s death has taken over the internet for the last two days. The circumstances surrounding the death of the singer has not been ascertained. Though there were speculations that she died of throat cancer, the family has revealed that she died as a result of domestic violence.
According to the elder sister of the deceased, Ms Favour Made, Osinachi has previously complained to her twin sister of the domestic violence meted on her by the husband. Ms Made refuted the claim that she died of cancer. She said Osinachi’s husband Mr Peter Nwanchukwu hit her on the chest and this led to blood clot in her chest. This was the action cause of her death. She also said that Mr Nwanchukwu did not inform the family of her death until late that same day she died. He also did not disclose to the family that they have domestic issues.
In her very words:
“It was the hitting on the chest that killed her. My brother had to ask the doctor what killed her and the doctor said that there were clusters of blood on her chest…”
She also said they have warned her severally to be separated from the marriage, but she refused saying that she doesn’t want divorce and the man will change.
It’s so unfortunate that she could not make it alive. Meanwhile, there are claims that Mr Nwanchukwu has been arrested. Ms Made confirmed that he has not been arrested.
This is such a painful death and she will be missed by the Nigerian gospel music world.
